    The Portuguese Black Pearl has passed away, RIP "Eusebio"



    today is a sad day in the football world after announcing that the Portugal national team and Benfica star "Eusebio" the-71-years old has passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in the today's early hours, His born was in the black Continent "Africa" in Mozambique 1942, Bela Guttman the head coach of Benfica brought him to Portugal to sign his contract in Benfica in 1961.

    Eusebio has been called " the Black Pearl " His great performance as a unique forward qualified im to be one of the greatest players in Europe, Eusebio became a legend for the Portuguese national team and Benfica with his great achievements winning 11 Portuguese league titles "Primeira Liga", 5 domestic cups and finally the European Cup at 1962, beside the mentioned achievements he was the main factor that Portugal qualified to the 3rd place in the World Cup 1966.

    Eusebio was fast and strong and talented, his talent qualified him to unstoppable player in Portugal and Europe, he scored 319 goal in 313 games he has played, and he still the scorer for Benfica in all-time, he achieved individual things for him as the top scorer in Portugal for 6 times and 2 times he won the European Golden Boot in 1968 and 1973, and he was the European Player of the Year in 1965, this time Benfica was at the top of the their glory and they dominated the European football.

    Eusebio was one of Portugal scorer, hitting 41 goal, then after spending 15 years representing Benfica he left to continue his career in North America, he played for some teams in Mexico and USA before finishing his career and retire at 1978, CR7 " Cristiano Ronaldo " wrote on his twitter account "Always eternal, Eusebio, rest in peace."
